Partnering with Alexander, Russ Giguere, Ted Bluechel Jr., Brian Cole, and Bob Page, Terry Kirkman formed the folk-rock outfit the Association. The group released their first album titled ‘And Then… Along Comes the Association,’ and featured hits like “Along Comes Mary” and “Cherish.”

The group also performed at the famed iconic Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 and was the first group to play that weekend.
