Every year, on the day of the full moon in the Hindu month of Shravan, we celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Because of this, it is also known as Rakhi Purnima. The love between sisters and brothers is the focus of this unique celebration. Brothers agree to look after their sisters in exchange for sisters tying a decorative thread (rakhi) on their wrists. Some regions just refer to it as Rakhi. This festival holds a lot of significance for Hindus.
