He passed away on Wednesday, 16 August 2023. He was only 88 years old at the time of his demise. When the death news of this legendary music executive spread everywhere, various artists, fans, and followers shared tributes, condolences, and remembrances. The majority of artists who ever worked with him and will miss him for eternity.
In 1962, he and Herb Alpert together co-founded A&M Records. There were close allies. A&M Records was founded to work as an independent music company. Alpert was broken with the passing of his close companion. He shared his last words for Jerry Moss with Billboard, “I never met a nicer, honest, sensitive, smart and talented man than my partner Jerry Moss.”

His death has affected many people including his family, friends, clients, various artists, and fans. In 2006, he along with Alpert was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The former passed away on Wednesday, 16 August 2023.
His demise occurred in Bel Air, California where his home is and he stayed. As per a statement released by his family, his death was confirmed. His’s widow, Tine confirmed to the press that, he died of natural causes at the age of 88.

Tina and Jerry Moss finally got married in 2019 after three years of dating since 2016. They lived together in Maui, Hawaii, and Bel Air, California. On 16 August 2023, Jerry Moss breathed his last at his home in Bel-Air, California at the age of 88.
