Brian’s statement read, “Rudolph Isley, a founding member of the world-famous Isley Brothers, died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of 11 October 2023. He died at his home, with his devoted wife Elaine by his side. They had been married for 68 years. Rudolph was a deeply religious man who loved Jesus.”

Rudolph was born and brought up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his career in singing at a very young age in church. During his teenage days with Vernon, Ronnie, and Kelly, he sang as a member of The Isley Brothers. After the demise of Vernon in 1957, the remaining migrated to New York with the aspiration of getting a recording deal. They published their first significant recording called, “Shout.”
