Tara Strong is a famous Canadian voice actor. Currently, she is one of the most prolific voice actors working. At the age of 14, she started her career in 1987 and worked on ‘My Pet Monster’. Tara Strong is a Jewish who immediately went to social media on 7 October and posted, “If you are PRO suffering, r—, murder of ANY innocent people, today I will block you. We should all be praying for peace. To end ALL wars, near and far. To end the suffering of ALL innocent civilians everywhere regardless of political affiliation.”
On 8 October 2023, the following day of attack, from the American Jewish Committee, Tara tweeted that claimed individuals, “only excuse terror when it targets Israel. Because everyone hates Jews.” Tara responded, “You can want to help Palestine without supporting terrorism,” to a tweet that read, “Hi I’m Jewish! Being pro-Palestine does not make you antisemitic.”

An update on Boxtown on X read, “Hello all! Just wanted to offer a quick update on Boxtown. We will be recasting the role of Bill (previously played by Tara Strong). We’ll have more info soon on open auditions.
This is what happens when you help fans get shows made I guess.” Tara got to know that she was fired from the tweet only. Then Tara tweeted, “Fired for being Jewish. Glad I helped you get your Kickstarter money. Please lose my email address and pray for my family in Israel and Gaza.”
The co-writer of the Boxtown pilot, Spencer Rothball jumped into the conversation and mentioned that the current voice actor of the main character, Alex Hirsch is also Jewish. Furthermore, the Twitter account of The Indie Animation Network shared a screenshot which was deleted by Boxtown.

It’s very disappointing that some people continue to spread misinformation and hatred. We do not stand for hatred in any of its forms.”
