The world is debating over the fact that Miss Universe Zimbabwe is white. It has sparked a debate on many social media handles. On 16th September 2023, Brooke Bruk Jackson won the title of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023.
The famous global competition was put on a break for the past 22 years. Now she is all set to represent her country at Miss Universe 2023 which is all set to be organised in El Salvador in November.
Brooke has now become a top contender to represent her country after beating Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa who ended up as first and second runners-up up respectively.

Although, Brooke Bruk Jackson’s birth details are not known, but according to several media reports she’s 22 years old.
Ethnicity and Parents
Brooke Bruk Jackson originally belonged to Harare, Zimbabwe-native. Her parent’s names are Tracey Evans Bruk-Jackson. She worked as a part-time model along with working as a beauty therapist at Aesthetic Solutions Zim, Harare.
Brooke Bruk Jackson studied at Chispite Senior School in Harare and later enrolled in the British Academy of Fashion Design in London to complete her degree in fashion design. Back in 2022, she signed up with Cape Town’s modeling talent agency Boss Models South Africa to start her career as a model.
With winning the title of Miss Universe Zimbabwe she has surely made her community proud. As a part of her win, Brooke Bruk Jackson was awarded with $10,000 cash prize from Style by Minnie. Additionally, many brands have exclusively signed a partnership deal with her including Essentials by Tanya, Hilz Couture, Optimas Photography, Langa Cosmetics and iHelp.
In the final round, she was asked- what is her biggest fear. To which she replied- “My biggest fear is not to have an impact on people’s lives. Anybody who enters my life, I would like them to leave inspired and transformed not by the way I look, but with what is inside my heart.”

Meanwhile, her win has sparked a debate on why a white girl won the title of Miss Zimbabwe. Many on Twitter are arguing that she has white ethnicity and that Black girls should have won the title as the country is known for its Black population.
While some support her victory as Brooke Bruk Jackson deserved it with her intelligence and well-served answer during the final round. Throughout the pageant, she showed dedication and courage while answering all the questions.
